What a pleasure to have these two 'Golden Oldies' opened side by side. Although the 1970 Chateau Mouton Rothschild is not the absolute pinnacle of aged Bordeaux (think '61 or '82) and the 1985 Heitz Martha`s doesn`t have the cachet of the historic 1974, it`s still immensely rewarding to see these two classics shoulder to shoulder.
