Once again, we just had the pleasure of hosting 'Champagne Daves' Annual TPIF Charity Wine Dinner'. The wines, as always, were of a ridiculously high quality, but two in particular stood out. The 2000 DRC La Tache and 1962 Vega-Sicilia Unico were drinking phenomenally, and to be singled out for a special mention was no mean feat, especially when you consider what they were up against.
