2019 Biondi-Santi Tenuta Greppo Annata Brunello di Montalcino

Some wines are legendary because they are rare. Others are legendary because they changed the history of wine forever. Biondi-Santi belongs to the latter. Widely recognized as the birthplace of Brunello di Montalcino, the estate traces its roots to the late 1800s, when Ferruccio Biondi-Santi isolated a unique clone of Sangiovese Grosso and demonstrated that it could produce wines capable of aging for decades.
