Moon Tsai was founded by Larry and Mary Tsai with a vision to craft limited-production wines that merge Napa Valley’s power with Old World finesse. Working with acclaimed winemaker Philippe Melka, the winery sources from top-tier vineyard sites, including the famed Hyde and Ritchie vineyards, to produce Chardonnays of depth, purity, and precision. The 2021 vintage is beautifully expressive—aromas of ripe pear, lemon curd, toasted brioche, and white peach unfold into a creamy, textured palate lifted by vibrant acidity. Subtle notes of vanilla bean, crushed stone, and hazelnut linger through a long, polished finish. Aged in French oak (a portion new), this wine strikes a sophisticated balance between richness and restraint, making it equally compelling now and over the next 5–7 years.
