In the autumn of 1989, Jess Jackson acquired the Zellerbach winery and renamed it in honor of his late father, Jess Stonestreet Jackson. Stonestreet quickly garnered international acclaim for their powerful reds and luscious whites, but the Upper Barn Chardonnay has surpassed everything, becoming a regular thing of beauty. The stars continue to align as this vineyard insists on producing wines with density and a dreamy mix of aromatics and texture.
