Our old friend Bob Foley is the genius who produces Graileys best-selling Cabernet vintage after vintage. This magnificent 100% Cab never fails to deliver, and it's been a massive favorite of our members since the 2013 vintage, selling out swiftly on every release. It also has the honor of being our most consistently re-ordered Cab and is one of those special items we are guaranteed to sell as much as we can get our hands on. Bob started his career at Heitz Cellars, moving on to Markham and then to Pride Mountain. He retired from Pride in 2006 to devote himself full-time to his own winery and consulting projects. The 94+ Point 2018 Robert Foley 'Purple Label' Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of fruit sourced from ridge-top mountain vineyards and the stony soil of Calistoga. This remarkable Cab has hit the mark again with fully ripe black cherry, and black currant aromas, nuanced with suggestions of cedar and camphor. The palate is full and even with a rich middle that is perfectly balanced by natural grape acidity and silky fine tannin.
